You can apply to start pre-registration training at any time when the application form is available, but you can only start your approved training during the period specified on the key dates page.  If you do not start your approved training by the end of this period, you must wait until applications open for the following year.

We will assess your application to make sure that:

• you are eligible to start training
• your training arrangements are suitable

If you do not meet these requirements, which are set out in the guidance notes, you will not be able to start training.
